This is the most ambitious privat travelling album I have ever seen. It´s in 4:o formatin a red cloth binding with gilt lines and red titlelabel. Not paginated, but around 80 pages just filled with tickets, original photographs in all sizes, maps, picture postcards, train tickets, hotel cards, fantastic railway advertisments, time tables, feathers, menues (from m/s Jutlandia belonging to The East Asiatic Company Ltd for going back home). In the end a few pages with greeting cards. Document mostly from New York, Chicago and Washington. A exciting mix of public and privat items giving an interesting view on America just after the second world war. Hundreds of documents. Mild wear to spine edges. In a worn slipcase, else fine.
The name of the lady was Miss Edith J. M. Klemmensen who went back to Denmark with m/s Jutlandia the 9th March 1948.
