In the introduction (7 pages) says Ava Vargas that this photographs originally were stereo glass plates found at a flea market in Mexiko City. After some time he brought them to England and reproduced them. They are supposed to be taken between 1900 and 1915 mostly at s. c. meeting-houses. At this time the European influence, especially French, was strong in Mexico. Some mild soiling and a small closed tear in upper spine of d/j.
